Working Solutions Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

This Hispanic Heritage Month, we are proud to highlight Working Solutions' ongoing commitment to building wealth and opportunity in Latino communities. 

From September 15-17, our CFO Gasper Magallanes and Business Development Manager Cecy Toro traveled to Nashville for the 2025 NALCAB Conference, connecting with peers and partners around the shared mission to "build transformational wealth in Latino communities to create a more prosperous nation and a stronger economy for all."

For Cecy, this conference marks the halfway point of her participation in NALCAB's 2025 Pete Garcia Fellowship. This year-long leadership development program has already taken Cecy to Puerto Rico and Chicago for intensive training and peer learning with fellow emerging Latino CDFI leaders across the country.

Closer to home, our Business Development team recently led Spanish-language Access to Capital workshops in partnership with the San Luis Obispo MCSC Women's Business Center and CVIIC (Central Valley Immigrant Integration Collaborative). Additionally, our Business Consulting team is hosting a Spanish-language Digital Marketing workshop for Working Solutions clients, increasing access to the tools and resources entrepreneurs need to succeed.

And finally, we are hiring for another Spanish-speaking Business Development Officer, serving the Silicon Valley-South Bay region.
