Network partnerships like California’s statewide Success, Capital Access, & Leadership for Entrepreneurs (SCALE) program allow resource providers like Working Solutions to specialize in what we do best as a lender and technical assistance provider while also connecting entrepreneurs to comprehensive support.
For example, when entrepreneur AmaYah Harrison-Bryant faced financing barriers as a first-time creative entrepreneur, she turned to SCALE for help. She first worked with a mentor from Alliance for Community Development to create a sustainable business plan, and then got connected to Working Solutions for a loan. The funding helped her launch Sage & Silver Studios, which just marked its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting celebration in Sacramento.
