Working Solutions CDFI and Main Street Launch Announce Shared Executive Leadership
Two small business CDFIs unite leadership to amplify impact in California
San Francisco, CA (March 10, 2026) — Working Solutions CDFI and Main Street Launch today announced an agreement establishing joint executive leadership across both organizations. Effective March 2, 2026, Sara Razavi serves as Chief Executive Officer for both organizations. Rohan Kalbag, who has served as CEO of Main Street Launch since July 2024, transitions to the role of Special Advisor. Other executives will assume cross-organizational roles in the coming months. By aligning executive leadership, both CDFIs aim to deepen their strategic partnership, enhance operational capacity, extend their collective reach in California, and offer a model for amplified impact in the CDFI industry.
Building on an expanded referral partnership implemented earlier this year, the new leadership agreement reflects a joint commitment to grow the continuum of capital and consulting for California’s small business owners — particularly businesses owned by low-income, BIPOC, and women entrepreneurs. Under this shared leadership agreement, Working Solutions CDFI and Main Street Launch will widen the door to capital access and continue to deliver mission-aligned financial products and business consulting support with a client-centered approach. The organizations will remain separate legal entities retaining their brands, headcount, offices, and separate Boards who will continue to plan for further alignment in the future with the goal of increasing the long-term sustainability of both institutions.
“Our two organizations bring decades of community lending experience and community trust to this strategic partnership,” said Paloma Vidgen, Board Chair of Working Solutions CDFI. “As the First to Believe in Small Business, Working Solutions specializes in high-volume microlending for early-stage businesses throughout California. Main Street Launch excels in larger business loans—including SBA Community Advantage lending—and strong municipal partnerships. A shared leadership structure creates opportunities for increased synergy and for the expertise of each organization to build the capacity of the other.”
“This partnership is a thoughtful step toward an even stronger future for both organizations,” said Wendell W. Jones II, Board Chair of Main Street Launch. “Our boards are committed to this partnership, and we look forward to exploring what deeper collaboration could look like in the future—while keeping our entrepreneurs and communities at the heart of every conversation."
