Working Solutions and Community Vision were excited to co-host a conversation with prominent CDFI leader Cliff Rosenthal about the state of the community development finance field and his upcoming book, "CDFIs Rising."

Rosenthal traced the journey of CDFIs from their early days through their evolution into a nationally recognized model for advancing equitable finance. He shared insights on how CDFIs have responded to recent challenges, including the COVID-19 pandemic, and addressed current opportunities and obstacles facing the field.

The discussion highlighted ongoing opportunities for community-driven finance while emphasizing the importance of CDFIs staying grounded in their foundational mission as they continue to adapt and innovate.
