City of Berkeley: Funding, Workshops, and Support for Small Businesses

Working Solutions is pleased to partner with the City of Berkeley to administer its Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) and Resiliency Loan Program (RLP). See below for more information about these two initiatives, upcoming workshops, or to get started with one-on-one pre-loan support.

Funding

Working Solutions offers small business loans of $5,000-$100,000 with the following terms:

  • Revolving Loan Fund interest rates are determined at time of loan approval for the Federal Prime Rate + 2%.

    • Eligible business who can demonstrate disruption by the COVID-19 pandemic may qualify for low-interest loans up to 7% (RLP).

  • Must be located in the city of Berkeley

  • No minimum credit score

  • No collateral required

  • 5-year loan terms

  • $50 application fee

  • 5% closing fee + $5 UCC filing fee
