As part of the Dream Keeper Initiative, Working Solutions is providing real estate services—including lease review, negotiation, and relocation assistance—to reverse the displacement of brick-and-mortar small businesses in San Francisco, with a focus on Black-owned and African American-owned businesses and commercial storefronts.
The first cohort of 20 businesses has been selected to participate in this program, which will take place from June 1, 2022 - September 30, 2022 and will include:
Individualized support with lease review, negotiation, and relocation assistance;
Online training with personalized Action Plans to maintain and stabilize small businesses; and
Upon completion of Action Plan goals, one-time grants of $20,000 will be provided for rent and lease support and to help small businesses stabilize.
