Celebrating Small Business Month with California Entrepreneurs

Throughout May, the Working Solutions team celebrated Small Business Month by connecting with entrepreneurs and community partners across California's small business ecosystem. Highlights include:

• Participating in Small Business Week events in San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, Stockton, and around the state;

• Launching the new Family Child Care Capital Access Program in California with the Low Income Investment Fund and fellow small business CDFI, Ascendus;

• Attending Comerica Bank's "Swinging Big for Small Business" event, where Working Solutions was one of five organizations nationally recognized as a Small Business Champion;

• Attending and speaking at CAMEO Network's regional gatherings and statewide summit;

• Participating in the inaugural "Trading at the Bay" event for Native entrepreneurs, hosted by Indigenous Futures Fund at Mission Driven Finance;

• Joining Opportunity Finance Network in Washington DC to share stories of our work and support the CDFI Fund;

• Gathering with fellow CDFI practitioners at the Bay Area CDFI Women's Network convening;

• ...and so many more!
