Welcoming Our Newest Board Member

At our January 2023 Board Meeting, Working Solutions welcomed our newest Board Member, Purvi Patel, who was recently appointed Deputy Commissioner for Credit Unions at the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) by Governor Gavin Newsom. In this role, Purvi focuses on key issues for credit unions, including stakeholder relations, emerging policy matters, convening the Credit Union Advisory Board, and further developing the ways credit unions can serve and support the underbanked in building generational wealth.

The Working Solutions Board also re-elected five returning members—Marci Rosenfeld, Emily Gasner, Olivia Rebanal, Lena Robinson, and Haseeb Chaudhry—and renewed our all-female slate of Board Officers.
