Dream Keeper Small Business Stabilization Program Underway

As part of the Dream Keeper Initiative, Working Solutions is providing real estate services—including lease review, negotiation, and relocation assistance—to reverse the displacement of brick-and-mortar small businesses in San Francisco, with a focus on Black-owned and African American-owned businesses and commercial storefronts.

The first cohort of 20 businesses has been selected to participate in this program, which will take place from June 1, 2022 - September 30, 2022 and will include:

  • Individualized support with lease review, negotiation, and relocation assistance;

  • Online training with personalized Action Plans to maintain and stabilize small businesses; and

  • Upon completion of Action Plan goals, one-time grants of $20,000 will be provided for rent and lease support and to help small businesses stabilize.
